When working with an online mic tester, your browser needs access to your mic. If your browser does not have this access, your mic won’t be working properly even if it is in good working condition.
How to Enable Access to the Microphone:
In the browser’s address bar, click the image of the locked padlock for further information
- Find Microphone permissions
- Set the option to Allow
- Refresh the page to effect the change
Important: In case of denied or blocked microphone permissions, online microphone test sites won’t work no matter the status of the microphone.
